Handyman Connection of Mountain View's team of professionals is passionate about taking your home improvement dreams and making them a reality.
Carlos fell in love with the trades right out of high school. He has been interested in working with wood and chose career in carpentry. As it often happens, Carlos learned other skills such ast drywalling, plumbing, flooring, and many others. In all his work, Carlos is seeking quality, perfection, and making people happy.
Carlos moved to the area in 1980s. He has raised his family here. In his free time, Carlos enjoys boating, motocross, and snowboarding.
Clarence is a master remodeler. He’s done everything from new construction to large and small remodel jobs to handyman jobs. Clarence is a one-man remodel machine.
Clarence likes boating, fishing, hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. He like spending time with his family traveling around the USA and world. He’s been to 6 countries. Clarence is very proud of his family and, especially, grandson who is going to a kindergarten. In addition to the humans, his other family members include a dog and a bird.
Daniel has been in the trade since 1991. He started as a painter and progressed to a General Contractor. Daniel’s favorite trades are painting, decks, fences, and cabinets, although he is proficient in many other trades as well.
Daniel is proud in making sure every time that the customers are happy with the results of his work.
When not working, Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. They like going to parks, theater, and restaurants which this area offers plenty.
Dave has worked in the trade not only in California but also in Colorado, North Carolina, and Australia. He and his wife moved to the Bay Area in 2017 to be closer to the family and to a better climate. Dave came from a family of 8 kids and has 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren.
Dave’s specialty is carpentry, but he’s excelled in many trades. He has done new construction homes but prefers remodeling to make people happy in their upgraded homes. Dave began his career with trade school, carpentry and bricklaying. He also had a career in the corporate world, but always kept up to date as a craftsman because that’s what he’s always liked, finds it very creative, and likes working with his hands. He enjoys turning a drab space into an environment that’s relaxing and fun to live in. He is very proud that he’s enhanced and changed in many positive ways, how people live in their homes.
Outside work, Dave hikes a lot and builds fine furniture and jewelry boxes. He also plays around a bit with foreign languages.
Dave’s trademark is the fine detail work that reflects some beauty around us. He believes we can make a difference in this world by how we treat each other.
Dexter moved with his wife and daughter to Mountain View from Humbold County. in early 2017 to be close to the family. He likes this area for the variety it offers and amazing educational opportunities for his daughter.
Dexter began working in construction in high school and has done it ever since. He became interested in the trades because he liked being on job sites and having multiple opportunities to try different things. Although Dexter is proficient in many trades and can do almost anything in construction and home improvement fields, his specialty is painting, finish carpentry, and tile.
What Dexter likes most about his work is seeing how pleased the customers are upon project completion.
In his free time, Dexter likes to build furniture, play guitar, and go hiking with his wife and daughter.
Diego likes repairing broken things and make them look better. He is specializing in maintenance, light remodeling, plumbing, and electrical but knows and excels in many other trades. Diego’s trademark is “always doing the job right” and leaving a smile on a customer’s face when he is done with the job.
Diego moved to the Bay Area over 10 years ago. He likes the environment in the area and the variety of good jobs, stores, and restaurants. He enjoys spending time with his wife and kids on different family activities and also likes going to a gym and gaming.
The qualities people notice about Diego right away is that he respectful, hard working, honest, and always does the job right.
George is a California State Certified Journeyman Painter since 1989. He was a union painter from 1989-1995. During that time he worked on such projects as Hilton Hotel in Downtown San Jose, Bay 101 Casino, Apple campus in Cupertino, and many others. Currently, George enjoys working mostly on residential projects.
George has lived in the San Francisco South Bay all his life. Currently, he calls San Jose his home where he lives with his wife and children.
In his “spare” time, George likes to work on his cardio and watch his kids play soccer.
Jakob grew up in Indiana and moved to California in 2017 following his girlfriend.
Jakob’s introduction to the trades was given by his father when Jakob was 14 years old. Jakob was helping his father with house improvement projects and around the shop. Later Jakob progressed to remodeling, deck work, roofing, and almost anything that needed to be done for residential construction. He likes being fair in his evaluation of projects and keep customers happy with the results of his work.
Jakob has quite a few hobbies. He is a wrestler, track runner, and collects comic books and rocks.
Jim was born and raised in San Jose, California. He likes weather, people, low crime rate, and the vibrant economy. Jim is a painter by trade but learned and became an expert in drywalling, finish carpentry, and trims and moldings. He became interested in the trade in early age having a knack to solve problems with broken things. He is mostly proud of his spraying ability and handy skills but loves customers seeing his attention to details resulting in exceptional finished work product.
When not working, Jim loves listening to music and playing bass guitar. He is a part-time bass guitar player for a couple of local bands.
John has lived in Sunnyvale all his life. He loves this area because there is always something to do like sporting events, outdoor activities, concerts, restaurants, museums, movies, just to name a few. Also his entire family lives here.
John started his construction trade when he was old enough to hold a hammer in his hand. His first project was building a dog house. He likes working with various tools. Despite knowing many trades, John especially likes drywalling, painting, and outdoor carpentry like fences and decks.
John’s hobbies include building custom bicycles and playing darts.
He stays true to himself and is proud of delivering high-quality work to the customers.
Troy has been working in construction since mid-1990’s. His specialty is carpentry, especially doors and frames. However, Troy is also proficient in other construction trades, such as electrical, door hardware, flooring, drywall, stucco, and many others. He also really enjoys fabrication of components and repairing things that look unrepairable. In his work, Troy is most proud of his ability to troubleshoot problems.
Troy has lived in the Bay Area since he was a toddler. In the area, he loves the proximity to everything he needs: food, fun, and family. Troy enjoys art, Aikido, and writing. He also loves spending time with his wife and son and helping people.
